Catechism Committee Starts Summer Activities Week

On July 18th, 2023, the Catechism Committee of the Archdiocese of Erbil led by the Chaldean Daughter of Mary Immaculate, initiated the summer activities for Catechism students. 

The activities started at Sts. Peter and Paul Chaldean Parish, for students aging between 13-18. The activities cover educational (cultural), spiritual and entertaining aspects. 

Day one started with Fr. Ziad O.P. Who delivered a lecture to the students on the Eucharist. Throughout the summer activities, lectures covered topics about the Eucharist, the words of Consecration and the disciples of the Road to Emmaus. 

Students are also divided into groups led by the Catechism Committee teachers and assistants. 

These activities are done annually for all young people attending Catechism formation year-round, to help them grow spiritually and culturally, providing for them an atmosphere of education and entertainment during the summer vacations.
