Day 2 of the Ecumenical Celebration of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

Day 2 of the celebrations of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross started at Mar Elia shrine, with the presence of H.G. Archbishop Bashar Warda, of the Chaldean Catholic Archdiocese of Erbil; H.G. Archbishop Nicadimus Dawood Matti Sharaf, of the Syriac Orthodox Archdioceses of Mosul and Kirkuk and the Kurdistan Region; H. G. Archbishop Nazar Nathaneal of the Syriac Catholic Archdiocese of Adiabene. Later, the bishops welcomed His Beautitude Patriarch Mar Awa III of the Church of the East of the Assyrians, where all archbishops ignited the flame marking the start of the celebration. 

This was followed by a liturgical hymns ceremony led by Maestro Sr. Narjis SHJ, and performed by the students of the liturgical chants course of Saints Adday and Mari of the Chaldean Archdiocese of Erbil. 

After the performance, youth groups had organized different booths serving traditional food, drinks and handmade items.
