A joint meeting between Archdiocese parish groups and St George’s group from Telesqof

As a part of the monthly program “Mass & Breakfast”, the Archdiocese parish groups (fraternities) had a joint meeting with the group of St George’s from Telesqof on Friday, November 25, 2022. 

The program started with a celebration of the Divine Liturgy celebrated by Fr. San Hikmat and the students, at the parish of Our Lady Perpetual Help, followed by breakfast. 

Next, the students had a tour at the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE), led by Fr. Dankha Joola and the student life leader at CUE. 

After the CUE tour, the parishes groups visited the seminary of St Peter, where they explored and learned about the life of seminarians, and enjoyed an introductory explanation into seminary life by seminarian Wamidh. 

During the joint meeting, students also enjoyed entertaining games. The program was concluded with a charitable lunch shared by all.  

Throughout the program ,Fr Nashwan Yonan, parish priest for Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Fr Karam Najib and Fr Faris Yaqo from Telesqof, accompanied the students. 

The young groups that participated in this joint meeting were, Our Lady of Perpetual Help group, Don Bosco group, Carlos Acutis group, The Missionaries group, and St George group (Telesqof).
