Under the title of “Christus Vivit” Ankawa Youth Meetings (AYM) were launched in the summer of 2019, bringing together youth from different Chaldean dioceses across Iraq. Around 1000 young people participated in AYM, as well as the participation of Jesuit Fathers from Egypt.
The senior Chaldean Cathiloc leader in Erbil, Archbishop Bashar Warda has participated in the ceremony of signing the law Iraq and Syria Genocide Relief and Accountability Act of 2018, which will provide humanitarian relief to genocide victims in Iraq and Syria and hold accountable Islamic State perpetrators of genocide, by the former the U.S.
Under the title of “The Call to Holiness” Ankawa Youth Meetings (AYM) were launched in the summer of 2018, bringing together youth from different Chaldean dioceses across the country. Like 2013, AYM had different pastoral activities, lectures, and prayers.
