The Second Day of the Spiritual & Educational Catechism Camp

The second day of the Spiritual & Educational Catechism Camp for middle school students began on Monday afternoon at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul.

The day started with the gathering of participants in the church hall, where the opening prayer was held, followed by the camp’s theme song, which filled the atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm.

Reflections and New Activities

Afterward, a lecture titled
“What Are the Challenges of Being with Others?”
was delivered by Sister Nazek from the Dominican Order. She spoke about the meaning of living in communion with “the other” — someone who may differ in gender, personality, or appearance. The lecture emphasized that the other is not a barrier but a blessing that helps us grow. They challenge us to discover the best within ourselves and remind us of the Gospel’s call to responsibility, sharing, and integrity.

Following the lecture, the participants were divided into groups for collaborative activities. Later, the “Journey of Hope” Map was presented as a reflective station, linking the lecture’s message to everyday life.

The program also included a short break, followed by a special time of games and team competitions in the courtyard of the Christian Education Center.

The day concluded with a closing prayer, as participants left filled with joy and hope for what the next day would bring more reflections and new activities.
