On December 24, 2022, H. G Archbishop Bashar Warda headed the Christmas Vigil Mass at St Joseph’s Chaldean Cathedral along with the deacons and the main choir, in the presence of civil officials and more than 1500 people of the faithful laity.
As part of their monthly campaign, al rahma foundation distributed food packages for poor families in Ankawa. 400 packages were delivered for 400 families, and for the occasion of Christmas and the New Year, the food packages were doubled compared to last months.

On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, celebrated on December 8, which is also a big feast day for the the Chaldean daughters of Mary, Archbishop Warda celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St Joseph’s Novitate for the Chaldean Daughters of Mary.
The administrative staff of the archdiocesan schools held their regular meeting under the chairmanship of His Excellency Archbishop Bashar Matti Warda and Mr. Fahmy Babka, General Supervisor of the Archdiocesan Schools.
