The fourth day of the Spiritual & Educational Catechism Camp featured a Holy Mass presided over by the Archbishop of the Diocese, His Excellency Bishop Bashar Matti Warda. In his homily, he reflected on the theme of hope and our trust in God.
The activities of the Spiritual & Educational Catechism Camp for intermediate-level students continued on its fourth day, Thursday afternoon, July 24, at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul. The gathering began with a spiritual reflection titled:
“Our Hope is Rooted in the Living God.”
Following the reflection, His Excellency Archbishop Bashar Matti Warda presided over a special Holy Mass marking the conclusion of the catechism camp, which was held under the theme:
“Journeying Towards Hope.”
In his homily, the Archbishop emphasized the vital role of prayer in Christian life, affirming that it is an essential element for walking steadfastly in the path of hope. He stressed that true hope cannot be lived without a daily relationship with God through prayer.
He also praised the students for their commitment and active participation throughout the camp and expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the program—the sisters, teachers, animators, and everyone involved in the planning and organization.
The day concluded with a group photo to commemorate a joyful and hope-filled summer experience.
