Workshop for catechism teachers in Chaldean Archdiocese of Erbil

A workshop for catechism teachers in the Chaldean Archdiocese of Erbil was held on January 29, 2024, at St. Peter and Paul Church in Erbil, Iraq. The event brought together 85 participants, all committed to strengthening their role in religious education and deepening their spiritual foundation.

This workshop was aimed at equipping the catechism teachers with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual depth needed to effectively guide their students on their faith journey. The workshop offered a comprehensive curriculum that explored the foundations of Catholic teaching, effective pedagogical strategies, and a deeper understanding of scripture, tradition, and prayer. By engaging in this experience, participants were empowered to grow not only as educators but also as witnesses of faith. Ultimately, they are not better prepared to inspire and support the spiritual growth of their students.
