Prayers on the Friday of the Deceased Faithful

On February 28, His Grace Archbishop Bashar Matti Warda, led the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed with a celebratory Mass and funeral service at the Chapel of Hope in the Cemetery of Hope, Ankawa.

The ceremony began with a procession of deacons, carrying the cross and the Gospel.

The event saw the participation of the priests, deacons, and a large congregation, who filled the chapel in a collective prayer to remember and honor those who have passed away throughout the year, in accordance with the Chaldean Church’s traditions.
