Closing of the Al-Raja’ Football League for Intermediate Christian Education Students

In the presence of His Excellency Bishop Mar Bashar Matti Warda, esteemed priests, respected sisters, and a large gathering of beloved supporters, the Al-Raja’ Football League for Intermediate-Level Christian Education and Eparchy Schools concluded on the evening of Friday, May 8, 2026. The league had begun in November 2025.

The final match brought together Mar Toma Parish and Mar Gorgis Parish, ending with a 3–2 victory for Mar Toma Parish.

We congratulate Mar Toma Parish on winning the league title, and we also extend our congratulations to all participating teams. Our sincere thanks and appreciation go to everyone who contributed to the success of this league and helped demonstrate a spirit of love, brotherhood, and cooperation among all.
