A Moment of Silence at the CUE Campus, Remembering the Qaraqosh Fire Victims

On September 30th, 2023, four days after the tragic fire incident in Qaraqosh (Baghdeda) took place, the CUE students and staff came together for a moment of silence, remembering all the victims of this incident. His Grace Archbishop Bashar Warda, the CUE Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees stated that one can only be silent in such a situation, because words are not capable of expressing. The Archbishop led the prayer; praying for the departed that they may rest in peace, and for the injured that they may be granted healing and comfort.

The CUE family stands in solidarity with Qaraqosh (Baghdeda).
