Christmas Celebration for Catechism Students

In a Christmas atmosphere filled with joy and hope, the Central Catechism Committee of the Chaldean Archdiocese of Erbil held a Christmas celebration for primary school students on Friday morning, January 2, 2026, at the Saints Peter and Paul Center in the Mar Ouda district of Ankawa.

The celebration included a variety of performances presented by the students, featuring Christmas songs and hymns that expressed the true meaning and spirit of the feast, amid an atmosphere of joy and lively interaction. After the general program, the students were divided into their respective classes, where each grade gathered separately to continue with celebratory and educational activities prepared in a manner appropriate to their age group.

It is worth noting that the Catechism Center at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul welcomes its students every Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The center also provides bus transportation to and from the venue, ensuring easy participation in catechetical activities and fostering the students’ growth in faith within a nurturing church and educational environment.
