Catechists spend a day with their parents

On April 26, 2024, 43 parents and fourth-stage catechism students gathered at St. Peter and Paul Church in Erbil, Iraq, for a special day organized by the catechism committee.

The event began with a prayer that set a warm and reflective tone. Children had the chance to ask their parents questions about attending Sunday Mass, while catechists encouraged parents to share what brings them joy in coming to Mass each week. Many parents opened up about their personal experiences and the importance of the Mass in their lives. The day was filled with meaningful conversations, laughter, and fun games. This beautiful event helped families deepen their connections and grow together in faith.
