Koy and Armota Youth Hold a Spiritual Summer Camp in Komani Village

The Youth of Koy and Armota, under the guidance of Fr. Samir Sliwa, held their spiritual summer camp under the theme “My Soul Finds Rest in God” (Psalm 62). The three-day camp took place from Thursday, September 10, to Saturday, September 12, in Komani Village, with the participation of 30 young men and women.

The camp featured a diverse spiritual, educational, and recreational program, including communal prayers and spiritual reflections, as well as a lecture exploring the faith and spiritual meaning of Psalm 62 and its invitation to place one’s trust in God and seek rest and peace in His presence.

The youth also took part in religious and recreational competitions and group activities that contributed to strengthening the spirit of fraternity and cooperation among them. The camp also included visits to several holy sites near the place of residence, where participants spent time in prayer and reflection and learned more about the spiritual and ecclesial significance of these sites.

The camp provided a valuable opportunity for the youth to step away from the noise of daily life, renew their relationship with God, and deepen the bonds of love and friendship among them in an atmosphere marked by joy, simplicity, and a spirit of one family.

At the conclusion of the camp, the participants expressed their joy at this spiritual and communal experience, thanking Fr. Samir Sliwa and everyone who contributed to preparing, organizing, and making the camp a success. They prayed that the Lord would bless the Church’s youth and guide them to be witnesses of hope and love in the Church and society.
