Conclusion of the Solidarity Campaign “From Ankawa to Rojava”

The humanitarian institutions affiliated with the Chaldean Archdiocese of Erbil, namely Ankawa Humanitarian Committee and the Chaldean Mercy Association, have concluded the humanitarian solidarity campaign launched under the motto:

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy” (Matthew 5:7)
in support of affected people in Rojava.

Thanks to the spirit of solidarity and cooperation demonstrated by the people of Ankawa and the faithful, the campaign achieved tangible humanitarian results. Throughout the campaign period, the following aid items were collected and prepared:
• More than 600 food baskets
• Over 100 boxes of winter clothing
• 500 winter blankets
• 200 sleeping mattresses

  • Children’s supplies
In this context, the organizing institutions confirm that all collected aid was delivered today to both the Erbil Joint Crisis Coordination Center (JCC) and the Barzani Charity Foundation, to complete the procedures for transportation and distribution to beneficiaries in Rojava.

Ankawa Humanitarian Organization and the Chaldean Mercy Association extend their deep gratitude and appreciation to all donors, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to the success of this campaign. They highly commend this humanitarian giving, rooted in faith and fraternal responsibility, which reflects the authentic values of love, mercy, and solidarity.
May God reward everyone who contributed with abundant blessings, and may peace and hope reach all those in need.
