Christian Education in the Chaldean Diocese of Erbil Celebrates the Feast of All Saints.
The Christian Education Department and primary school students of the Chaldean Diocese of Erbil celebrated the Feast of All Saints on Friday, 30 October 2026, at the Church of the Apostles St. Peter and St. Paul, in an atmosphere filled with joy and faith.
The celebration provided an opportunity to introduce children to the lives and virtues of the saints, drawing inspiration from their witness to Christ through love, service, and generosity, while encouraging them to follow their example in their daily lives.
The gathering conveyed an educational and spiritual message, affirming that holiness is a universal calling, lived through faithfulness to the Gospel and love for God and neighbour. It is expressed through prayer, acts of kindness, forgiveness, and helping those in need.
Through reflecting on the lives of the saints, the children discovered inspiring examples of people who responded to God’s grace and made their lives a testimony of faith, each according to their own calling and circumstances.
The celebration embodied the mission of Christian Education: to accompany children on their journey of faith and help them discover their calling to holiness, so that they may become a light reflecting the love of Christ in their families, schools, and communities.
