The Christian Education Committee concluded its summer program for secondary school students, held under the theme “Grace, Communion, Mission” and titled “The Family: A Gift of Grace,” from 20–24 July 2026, with active participation and enthusiastic engagement from the students.
The program featured a series of spiritual and formative sessions presented by Fr. Savio Handoula and Fr. Samir Sliwa, who reflected on the importance of the family in the lives of young people, its essential role in fostering Christian values, and its mission in cultivating love, responsibility, and mutual support within the home.
The program also included a variety of educational games, creative workshops, and group activities, providing an atmosphere of joy, collaboration, and fellowship while strengthening friendships and encouraging teamwork among the participants.
A special Family Day was also held, bringing parents and their children together in an initiative that highlighted the importance of partnership between the Church and the family in accompanying young people and nurturing them in the Christian faith and values.
The program concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. San Hikmat, with the participation of the students and their families. The celebration was followed by an agape dinner, where participants gathered in a spirit of fraternity, joy, and thanksgiving, expressing gratitude to everyone whose dedication contributed to the success of this meaningful summer program.
