Day Three of the Spiritual & Educational Catechism Camp: The Journey of Hope in the Presence of Jesus

The third day of the camp was held on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 23rd, at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul.

This day was marked by a profound spiritual focus on the camp’s theme, “Journeying Towards Hope.” A time of reflection was dedicated to exploring the meaning of Christian hope, beginning with a central question:

“Hope is waiting for something that has already been given to us. If that’s the case, why do we wait for what we already have?”

The reflection was inspired by the words of Jesus: “I am with you always.” It raised thoughtful questions: Why do we hope to be with Jesus if He is already with us? Why do we walk this journey of hope and endure its challenges?
To address this paradox, a spiritual insight was presented to simplify the meaning:

The reflection helped deepen the students’ understanding that hope is not a passive state of waiting, but an active journey toward the One who is already present among us—a journey that requires faith, perseverance, and courage.

Following the reflection, the day continued with educational and recreational activities. Students enthusiastically took part in group workshops and fun activities designed to integrate Christian values into everyday life through teamwork and joy.
